Dinosaurs Inquiry

museum2On 30 and 31 May, our Year 0-2 children had a fabulous fun filled day exploring the Auckland Museum as part of our Dinosaurs Inquiry Unit for this term. Each class had a very hands on interactive session with the wonderful museum educators exploring their fossil collections and the distinctions between some of the different dinosaurs.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful parents who supported the teachers and joined us on our trip.

museum3To complement the trip we received this lovely message from the museum staff: ‘Thank you for taking part in our Dinosaurs & Fossils programme over the past two days. We really enjoyed your visit to us and were really impressed by St Heliers School students’ behaviour, manners and passion.’
