SHS Students Tested on International Chinese Language Proficiency

It was some time ago that students from St Heliers School opted to sit this test. I would like to thank our Mandarin Language Teacher, Yanyan Lou, for taking the time at luchtimes to tutor the six children.

The YCT is an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency. It assesses young foreign students’ abilities to use Chinese in their daily and academic lives. 

 Students:

6 students participated in the YCT exam last Saturday. Students went to the University of Auckland for the exam. Their names and classes are:
