Year 7 and 8 Swimming Sports

What a fantastic day it was on Friday 7 March when the Year 7 and 8 student went by bus to the Glen Innes Aquatic and Leisure Centre to participate in the annual swimming sports. I was impressed by all the children giving it their best, even though they may never have been at a swimming sport event before.

Children who gained placings may be selected for the Eastern Zone Swimming Competition on Monday 24 March.

Please note that we are only sending our top two swimmers for most events (1x entry for 100m freestyle) to the EZ event. This is due to the high level of competition at EZ swimming. 

This impacts numbers for the relays, meaning we will send 1x Y8 Boys and 1x Y8 Girls relay teams consisting of our top Y7&8 swimmers.
