Maths Opening Morning Draws Many Parents
It was great to see so many parents at our Maths Open Morning for parents on Tuesday morning. Most of the junior classes had over 80% attendance by parents. At the start most parents were observing and towards the end parents were fully involved in the learning alongside the children. Teachers have been involved in professional learning in maths over the last 18 months (The Learner First). This has resulted in higher engagement of all learners in the classroom and strengthening student outcomes in maths.
